INSPIRED MONDAY: Laurel's hates

There were faces Laurel couldn't bear to look at,buh they were all over, in fact, these faces were loved and adored by all, somehow, she knew that still not everyone loved and adored these people, because there would surely be someone like her. Just like how there was always repetition of occurrences, because when God provided water for the Israelites out of the rock, didn't he do it again?  Buh then, as many times as there would be repetition of occurrences, somethings will never be again, for there will never again be a man as wise as Solomon.

Laurel wondered what she had to do with her hatred for these faces, she couldn't go to work without seeing these faces, and sometimes, these faces appear in her office, sometimes not only their faces, buh them in flesh. She had no power to express her hatred, in fact, Laurel didn't want to express it, buh she always felt that if she didn't, she could choke herself up inside and faint. So far, that didn't happen, and she tried each time to always remind herself that she had pulled through their matter once, and that she could do it again, buh it got harder each time. Bearing the hatred within her was harder with each passing day, she just didn't know what to do with it.

Laurel didn't like being judgy, buh wasn't hatred a form of judgement? Hating a person was a way of saying that the person wasn't good enough, buh who was Laurel to define 'good'. If the Supreme was defined as good, then how can she mere human be considered good when she could in no way measure up to the standard of the Supreme. Buh then, the supreme did give humans the capacity to pick up some of His characteristics, and as far as Laurel knew the Supreme,  hatred wasn't a part of it.

Many times, Laurel had always prayed for the ability to love always, or at least ignore her hatred for certain things by not dwelling excessively on them within her heart, maybe that would give her a little peace within, another characteristic of the supreme,. Buh Laurel always questioned this "Would the peace within make her at peace with everyone, or did she have to make peace with everyone to have the peace within? Which of the peace was to come first to affect the other?" She still didn't know the answer.

Laurel sat in her kitchen. She had just arranged the groceries she bought in the refigerator, and she needed to make herself dinner. She needed to make her dinner, buh she wasn't in the mood, even though she felt hungry. Laurel stood from the stool and picked her phone on the slab, the picture of the tiny furry dog as her wallpaper made her smile a little. Unlocking her phone, the passage she had read on on her bus ride home came up, her daily verse for the day:

"But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ."

Laurel had no right to hatred when she wasn't even perfect too. She knew her own flaws, which was better than not knowing, and even though she always made effort to be better, she didn't have to hate those who refused to. After all, a way of her trying to be better is by loving even those she was supposed to hate. Laurel would try, she was supposed to be a stubborn lady, buh she found herself rather obedient. She considered obedience over stubborness. To her, obedience came first, and if that was it, then she had to show love first, she had to bury the hatred deep within her for her to keep going. The hatred was weighing her down and she had no power of her will to do away with the hatred, but there was love that could take it out totally. Laurel wondered how love would do that, buh that wouldn't be her own concern, she just had to be oobedient.
