INSPIRED MONDAY: Teacher Bunmi

There was a kind of confidence Bunmi wanted to build. She loved how her teacher always spoke, as if she was the creator of whatever topic she taught on. One thing that bothered Bunmi whenever she imagined herself teaching infront of a group of people was the doubt that could linger still in the hearts of the people she was speaking with. Nevertheless, she had been listening to her teacher teach for about four months now, and she knew she needed that confidence. Confidence to declare the word like it was hers, because indeed it was hers. It was hers because her father had meant them for her. Bunmi could tremble a lot in her heart when she begins to preach like her teacher, buh all she necessarily had to do was remind herself within, of who she was and what she had been given the grace to carry.

Surprising enough for Bunmi, she did well while she taught, because apparently, she learned from whatever she taught. She didn't have to explain everything the exact way she had rehearsed because there was something that gave her clearer understanding just after she had climbed the podium. The thing was, when she let go of her heart to speak the truth, and did this wholeheartedly as well as intentionally, the Truth took over whenever it was time for her to speak, so that even while on that podium, she could begin to see a completely different meaning to what she had been preparing to teach. And when she felt like she didn't know what to do next, it was the sign for her to continue just as planned.

Whenever Bunmi finished her teaching, she felt more obliged to abide by whatever it was she taught. If she claimed to speak the truth, and if she claimed the truth was hers, then it was something she had to abide by. The truth was hers, buh it didn't come from her, and so she knew it was a real possibility for her to to make a mistake of going against the truth even if it was in the slightest way. Bunmi found a way however to ensure that she held herself to the truth. What happens when she went up to teach was that she was completely involved with the source of truth at that very moment, for fear of misrepresenting Him, so then, if always she wanted to abide by the truth, then she had to have him involved with her every step of her life.

Whatever would be in favour of the judgement of The Truth was whatever was in conformation to The Truth. There were those whom The Truth would assist to be in conformation with Him, and also help to know Him better. As much that Bunmi studied, a form of modesty required of someone to be helped by the Truth Himself, buh it was a really soothing paradox that it was The Truth Himself that assisted one to reach this level of modesty, so long has a person wanted truly to attain that modesty and does it with a lot of effort.

"The meek will He guide in judgement: and the meek will He teach His way."      Psalm 25:9.
