INSPIRED MONDAY: Joe and Mood swings

That feeling started again within Joe, she didn't want the feeling, buh she loved it, and because she knew she shouldn't appreciate it, she didn't accept it. Joe loved the idea of mood swing, she loved how in a moment, she was jovial and in the next, just for no reason, she was out of mood and unapproachable. It always made her feel unpredictable, buh that wasn't the case, because since she was known to be that way, it was predictable that she would have mood swing.       Joe had chosen to walk in a new path for almost a year now, buh a part of her that she had tried to suppress so well and infact did well in trying was her change in mood. She just always had the feeling to be depressed, in that if she knew anything would cheer her depression, she'ld ensure to avoid it. Such that though she learned and knew that in her father's house, joy was a mandate, and she feeling sad was a problem, and that when she feels sad, she could beckon on her...

FLEX FRIDAY💖. MY PERFECT ARTIST.

CHAPTER 3      Lisa and Caleb stood on Teeny's porch, looking at the rain quietly, wondering when it was fit for Lisa to get her motorbike, she already had the rain coat on.      The door to Teeny opened behind them and none of them looked back, it wasn't unusual to have the door open and close continuously. "Lisa" A lady called behind them as she came out of Teeny. Lisa and Caleb turned back now. "Mrs Hooke..." Lisa called, she hadn't hoped to see her "...good evening" Lisa greeted, hoping that covered up whatever surprise look was on her face. Moreover, Lisa had to be nice to her, after all, she was her mother's best friend. "Are you heading home?" Mrs Hooke asked with her pleasant smile, revealing her almost white set of teeth between the pink colour of her lips. "Yes ma'am. My bike is in the school compound" Lisa said nodded slowly. "No need for that, I heard your mother's travelling tomorrow morning s...

INSPIRED MONDAY: Artist Blimey

Blimey looked on at everyone as they all,  including her had their smiles glued on their faces, buh that was only for a moment. As soon as the pencil slipped from the easel, she could feel the shock that shook her smile away as it did from others faces too. Blimey trembled, not just within her, it was clear on her face, so clear that no one dared to console her. Not that they didn't care, buh because it wasn't the right thing to do. For a long time now, Blimey had been doing this same curve lettering since she was young, she had influenced every of her classmates that now knew how to do the lettering. In fact, she was a special tutor to Larry, who just did his perfectly without a flaw. There was definitely no word that could encourage Blimey, because never in her life had she made a mistake with her calligraphy, and for the first time,  and not anywhere else buh infront of the people who could vouch for her art and even bragged so much about her, infront o...

Quick shout out to you Oluwasola Blessing BB even as you add a year today by the Grace of God 😍😚  CHAPTER 1      Caleb West took a few books out of his locker into his school bag and put the school bag behind him. As he closed his locker, Lisa was leaning on the locker next to his, facing him. "What, Lisa?" Caleb asked. "Are you sure you don't have a crush on me?" Lisa asked slowly and quietly. Caleb smiled a little "I should be asking you that, you seem to like me a lot" he said and they both started down the hall out the school building. It was closing hour so the hall was a little crowded.       "Are you hungry?" Lisa asked. "Why?" Caleb asked. "I'm cold and hungry" Lisa shivered a little under her cream coloured cardigan. "What'd you suggest then?" Caleb asked. Lisa hesitated "We could go to maximus and have hot noodles" she replied slowly. Caleb looked at her "You really want to do t...

INSPIRED MONDAY: Teacher Bunmi

There was a kind of confidence Bunmi wanted to build. She loved how her teacher always spoke, as if she was the creator of whatever topic she taught on. One thing that bothered Bunmi whenever she imagined herself teaching infront of a group of people was the doubt that could linger still in the hearts of the people she was speaking with. Nevertheless, she had been listening to her teacher teach for about four months now, and she knew she needed that confidence. Confidence to declare the word like it was hers, because indeed it was hers. It was hers because her father had meant them for her. Bunmi could tremble a lot in her heart when she begins to preach like her teacher, buh all she necessarily had to do was remind herself within, of who she was and what she had been given the grace to carry.       Surprising enough for Bunmi, she did well while she taught, because apparently, she learned from whatever she taught. She didn't have to explain everythin...

The lives of a few at Tegavis. At the entrance of Tegavis town was the mayor's house and government secretariat, and at the town end was the Obla house. Elisa Obla was the only daughter of her mother and had only an older brother. She didn't make friends with a lot of people in town but she was known with Caleb West even though their parents didn't get along. Elisa left Tegavis for the city, Vedar, and Joey, an orphan, moved into the town from the city a year later, reminding everyone of Elisa even for the fact that she lived in the Obla house, except for been a nicer version of Elisa.       Caleb West had been a known artist in Tegavis at a very young age, though he never really had or cared about the support of his father and brother, his mother however loved and encouraged him. His best encouragement was Elisa as she became his best friend for his talent. He joined the town's art competition and won for five years consecutively. In same vein,...
