FLEX FRIDAY💖. DAYS OF FOREST VISITS.


CHAPTER 10

      "Is she here to take you back?" Lola asked curiously. "She's here to help" Kate said. All attention turned to her. "That might be what she said, buh you can know for sure" Precious said. Kate looked at her. "When fighting on the side of the King of Hosts, trust is important. You can't trust others easily, buh for some cases, trust is necessary" Kate said. They were quiet for a while. "Do you believe what she says?" Steven asked. "I believe in all things working together for good for those on His side" Kate said. Lola nodded slowly. "I believe" Lola said. "I believe too" Precious said. Steven recalled reading a similar statement in the lottle book he had been reading. "I believe" he said.

     Bunmi was standing by the dining table when Steven came down with the others. Their steps on the stairs made her turn as they got off the stairs. Bunmi pressed her lips into a little smile. "I thought there was a rite going on" Steven said slowly. "Isn't that the best time to sneak out of the camp?" Bunmi shrugged. "Every one else is busy with their futility" She added. "Should we seat?" Kate asked. "And hurry too, my father seems to always care and watch out for me" Bunmi said as each person gathered and sat round the dining table. "He probably knew his child would be his destruction someday." Bunmi added, looking down at and playing with her fingers. "Children have a way of causing troubles don't they? they probably do it fun" Bunmi said and looked at the others, thy were expressionless and seemed uninterested. She fixed her eyes on Precious "Elene's daughter, it's my first time meeting with you honestly, you do remind me a lot of your mother" Bunmi said. "Bunmi" Steven called her name. "Why are you here?" He asked. Bunmi sat up "If you have to destroy the demon ghosts, don't you need help from inside?" Bunmi asked. Steven was a little suspicious. "And why would you offer to help destroy your people?" Steven asked. "What made you want to destroy them too? You're one of us since your birth" Bunmi said. She didn't wait for a response "...and they prevailed not, no place was found anymore for them... That's our fate eventually, shouldn't I be a part of the help of this great change" Bunmi said rather sadly. "We'll be destroyed eventually" she added.

      Kate spoke "How do you intend to help?" Kate asked. Bunmi turned to her. "Elene's good friend" Bummi remarked. After a little pause,  "The light amd the Name" Bunmi said. Everyone looked at her, they knew what they had to do, buh Bunmi just summarized it in two mighty words.

     If it was Emmanuel who was to help, it meant "God with us",  buh this Emmanuel was also light, so with anyone with light, God is definitely with one. One thing that Lola recalled quickly was "They overcame by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony" Saying it literally, the blood is same with the word of the testimony and that word was the Name, and the Name? The master of light had many Names, buh there was a Name greater than man to bear.

      "When do we go?" Bunmi asked. "Today would be easier, they'd be gathered for the rite" Lola said. "What do we do with you?" Steven asked Bunmi. "Salvation's for all, and its free" Lola shrugged. Bunmi thought for a while "The point's not me getting saved, I don't even exist, I'm a demon ghost, and the thought that I'd have to keep living for years with same old routine bores me at this moment" she said, with a little tone of sadness. "The rite ends by 12" Steven said. "Are you fine Precious?" Steven asked. Precious nodded a little, she was the one with the least idea of whatever they were saying, either light or darkness, she didn't understand the concept of how any worked. "I'll do well, I don't know a lot, buh I'm glad to help" Precious nodded slowly.

       Bunmi carried a square shaped box out of the bag on the floor beside her chair. "I brought these weapons, they were made by us" She said. "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal" Kate said. "Well, ours is, and what I think matters is that your master is able to use all things to defend His own, unlike my father who requires only his weapons to fight" Bunmi shrugged. "We don't have to learn to use these, do we?" Lola asked. "I'm good with them, and there's no time" Bunmi said. Lola nodded. "So, we'll employ our weapons, and yours also, making all things work  together" Kate nodded.

"Let's start with prayer" Kate suggested.

The Dreamer

       In a new place, with a strange dream... PART 1/2       Jasire opened his eyes slowly. Regardless of his fearsome dream, he was used to waking up quietly, as his mother would surely awake at any sound he or his siblings made, cautioning them to keep their voices low as the night was a very sensitive time. For the sake his mother, Jasire sat up as quietly as he could, this time, his mother wasn't leaning on the wall, asleep, and he infact had slept on a bed the night before, with his younger brother Tola by his right.        Maya sat crouched on her bed, leaning partially against the wall. She had just awoken not long ago, the day was getting bright and so Maya figured it was almost 7 am. She knew she'd wait at least 30 minutes in that position before the door opens and the switch turns on.      Maya didn't love feeling too cold, but she loved the feeling of cold, she loved the season of cold. She loved it a million times than the hot season. She loved things she was able to control, and thus her hatred for the generator, her slight hatted for her caretaker, her hatred for her room.      As much as Maya loved cold a million times than heat, she loved the light a million times than the dark.  The thoughts within Gab went on and on. Surely, there was no end to the mind. Every single thing had a depth,and that, a depth indeed. The depth of a single thing was connected to other things that don't seem to matter, but when looked at long and well enough,  it had its own unimaginable depth. INSPIRED MONDAY: All things work together

      Riah had a lot on her schedule. In about 35 minutes, her driver would arrive and would take her and her new and only daughter to her new school. Riah looked on at the paper she had written her schedule on earlier that morning as it lay on her dressing table, she seemed lost in her schedule. The only things she had done were the arranging of her bag, the reading of her bible and devotion with her daughter.      Riah felt sleepy, she felt the need to close her eyes but she shut the thought out.        Another way of relieving burdens, letting all the stress go is Praise.       One may wonder how this is possible when you seem to not have any strength left.
