FLEX FRIDAY💖. DAYS OF FOREST VISITS.

 CHAPTER 6

     Mrs Bright walked into the class with a new student. "Good morning class" she said. "Good morning ma" every one replied quietly, still sitted. "We have a new student" Mrs Bright said and turned to the girl "Introduce yourself" she said. The girl faced the class with her jocular look and smile. "Hi everyone, call me Lola. I'm excited to be in a new school, I hope you'll also enjoy having me here" she said. Mrs Bright faced the class again. "Take a seat Lola" she said as she opened the register on the table in front of her. Lola walked to Bimpe's former seat beside Precious. "Hi, I'll be your new seat mate" Lola said with a tight lip smile. Precious nodded. "I'm Precious" she said as Lola took her seat.

     Little Precious turned slowly and uneasily on her bed. Her father sat beside her, trying to calm her and wake her slowly. Precious gave a little scream as she woke up. She was sweating and her night gown felt soaked. "It's okay baby, I'm here with you" her father said gently. She had had a bad dream, the same dream she had almost every Thursday, and so her father had known to check up on her that midnight. "Don't go" Precious sobbed. "I'm right here, I'm not leaving ever" her father replied as he dabbed her face with the small towel he held in his hand. He tucked her in again. "It's okay" he whispered.

     Steven entered the usually empty class beside their class. They weren't many enough to extend to that class and so it was always empty. Precious was alone in the class,her head bent over a table. "Precious" he called. Precious raised her head, as he turned a seat to sit opposite her. "I thought Tade forbade you from leaving the class during break" Precious said. "If you knew that why aren't you in class?"he asked. "He doesn't want me in class during breaks" Precious shrugged. Steven looked a bit surprised "Your obedience amazes me" he said. Precious shrugged. 

     "Can your friends be visible like you too?" Precious asked. Steven nodded, "They can, but theirs is rather more complicated, mine is easier since I was once human, and I'm the one on the mission to get you..." he said. He added quickly "...Okay, Precious,the thing is, my move and speech are been monitored, buh I know when they're not watching or listening, so when I change the topic some times or avoid your question, please understand" he said. "Ow" Precious felt a bit overwhelmed "Okay" she nodded slowly. "Is the necklace a part of it?" She asked. "Yes, I gave you that day so you could know what was going on and because I had my friends as alibi, buh to them, it's more like a way for you to trust me and come back with me easily" he said. 

"Did you agree to join them? You said you were once human too" Precious asked.

 "I don't remember what exactly happened"

"Did you ever ask?"

"There was no one to ask, my friends were a part of them since their existence, and our coach-like said I was just brought in one day. I couldn't try anything because I was only surrounded with their loyal selves watching me"

"Why are you telling me these? Do you want me in there?"

Steven was quiet for a little while, he wouldn't want anyone in there, and he volunteered to bring her so he could find the escape route. "No. Unfortunately, humans are fallible. Take heed when you think you stand." Steven said.

"What do you plan on doing?" Precious asked.

"Your mother, she's a living ghost. She faces torture like every second of her life. I met with her, or rather, she met with me. She spoke of an escape route. She was going to find that route herself, and that was why she got married to your father. She said her fault was not confiding in anyone, some battles cannot be fought alone"

"So she kind of set you up to meet me?"

"Maybe" he shrugged.

"This will be scary" Precious said quietly, her heart was beating a bit faster.

      Lola entered the class, her hands in the pockets of the hoodie she was wearing. "Hi Precious" she said. Precious and Steven faced her. "Hey" Precious gave a little smile. "I wanted to take a note from your bag, buh someone said you're not allowed in class during breaks" Lola said. "Just for today I guess, you can take the note though" Precious said,as the bell rang. "Break's over" Lola said with a little smile. "Yh, we'll be in class soon" Steven said before Precious spoke. Precious looked at Steven and nodded at Lola. "Yh, I'll meet you in class" She said. Lola gave a faded smile and left.

     "You don't have a problem with her do you?" Precious asked. Steven shrugged. "No, not really" he said as he stood up. "Are you sure?" Precious asked doubtfully as she stood up too. "Come on, technical drawing is no joke" Steven said and headed out of the class first.

     Precious entered the class, Steven was already sitted. Lola was sitted too, her head on the table. Dasola was sitted beside Lola. Precious sighed on seeing Dasola. She walked to Steven's table, he and Iwalewa looked up at her. "Steven" she called and nodded towards her seat. Iwalewa looked from Precious to Steven and back to Precious.
