INSPIRED MONDAY: Laurel's hates

There were faces Laurel couldn't bear to look at,buh they were all over, in fact, these faces were loved and adored by all, somehow, she knew that still not everyone loved and adored these people, because there would surely be someone like her. Just like how there was always repetition of occurrences, because when God provided water for the Israelites out of the rock, didn't he do it again?  Buh then, as many times as there would be repetition of occurrences, somethings will never be again, for there will never again be a man as wise as Solomon. Laurel wondered what she had to do with her hatred for these faces, she couldn't go to work without seeing these faces, and sometimes, these faces appear in her office, sometimes not only their faces, buh them in flesh. She had no power to express her hatred, in fact, Laurel didn't want to express it, buh she always felt that if she didn't, she could choke herself up inside and faint. So far, that didn't happen, and she...

FLEX FRIDAY 💖. DAYS OF FOREST VISITS

CHAPTER 2      The car pulled over in front of a bush. Little Precious looked out of the window of the seat she was on beside the driver's seat. The rain had reduced, and the night was dark. Precious couldn't see through the thick night, so she turned to the man that picked her up from her house. He got down from his seat and walked to the other door where Precious was, opened the door and picked her up. "Where's daddy?" Precious asked as the man closed the door with his other hand. "We're almost where he is" he replied. He walked further into the bush. When the rain finally stopped, the man stopped near a big tree and put Precious down. Precious looked around the place, it was dark buh the moon shined bright enough. Putting his hand into the right pocket of his hoodie, The man took out a neck chain, he squatted in front of Precious and showed her the necklace. Precious looked surprised "I've seen that before" she said, looking away f...

INSPIRED MONDAY: Disappointments and forgiveness

Ash didn't see any of these as her fault, buh no one was on her side. Buh then, no one was on her side didn't mean she had to be on their side. As a matter if fact, she didn't want their approval. Though they were are glued, she didn't need their approval. They've been together so long, and she was just amazed at how Sarah and Gab believed Mic over her. Who on earth was Mic to them compared to her? Nothing, absolutely nothing but a classmate. Ash had nothing to say to them, and even if she did,  they were not willing to listen. If Ash told herself she wasn't hurt by their action, she knew she'd be trying to fool herself. She was used to it, and although she was used to it, it still hurt to be let down by people you consider close. Maybe it was because she didn't see it coming, maybe it was because she had chosen to see only the positive side of every situation. The type of person she used to be was the type to consider all possibilities in all situations...

FLEX FRIDAY💖. DAYS OF FOREST VISITS.

CHAPTER 1      As Darasimi Precious got out of her room and closed the door, she heard the horn of her father's car. She hurried to the stairs and down, dressed in her blue school uniform, a school bag behind her and her brown jumper on her left hand. From the sitting room, she could hear Dolapo's movements in the kitchen. "Bye Dolapo" Precious called. "Take care in school" Dolapo's response came quick. Precious got out of the house and went to her father's car and took a seat beside him in front, placing her bag and jumper on her laps. "You didn't forget anything, did you?" Mr Darasimi asked. "No dad" Precious smiled as she fastened her seat belt.      It was the first day of a new session and as Precious's father drove her to school,  Precious wasn't thinking much about school, she didn't have any close friends, and she didn't want to bother herself with it. She wasn't so jovial and so she didn't ...

INSPIRED MONDAY: RIVER OF TEARS

Pamela Grayson could only imagine. She was sitted in the waiting room. There were other people around her, but only she was sitted. As she bit her lips, she imagined herself - sitted alone on her bed, surrounded by a bunch of wet tissues, a flood of wet tissues, hands trembling as she tries gasping for breath. It would be sadder because she would have no one to console her, or at least, she had no one to imagine to console her, because the only reason she would be sitted on her bed surrounded by wet tissues was the only reason she was sitted infront of the operating room for the surgery that had been going on on Maggie for two hours. If Maggie doesn't get better, P.G was bound to drown herself before Joshua arrives from his business trip in two weeks time. She could make it totally impossible for anyone to reach her if anything happened to Maggie. PG knew within her that there was someone who could reach her no matter how well she locked people out, but she di...

FLEX FRIDAY💖. Four pink walls.

Maya sat crouched on her bed, leaning partially against the wall. She had just awoken not long ago, the day was getting bright and so Maya figured it was almost 7 am. She knew she'd wait at least 30 minutes in that position before the door opens and the switch turns on.      Maya didn't love feeling too cold, but she loved the feeling of cold, she loved the season of cold. She loved it a million times than the hot season. She loved things she was able to control, and thus her hatred for the generator, her slight hatted for her caretaker, her hatred for her room.      As much as Maya loved cold a million times than heat, she loved the light a million times than the dark. She loved the moments in her room when it was flooded with light from the two white florescent bulbs that looked like lamps glued to her white ceiling.      White. Her ceiling was white. Maya had not decided if she loved white or not. Once, she laid ...

INSPIRED MONDAY: All things work together

Riah had a lot on her schedule. In about 35 minutes, her driver would arrive and would take her and her new and only daughter to her new school. Riah looked on at the paper she had written her schedule on earlier that morning as it lay on her dressing table, she seemed lost in her schedule. The only things she had done were the arranging of her bag, the reading of her bible and devotion with her daughter.      Riah felt sleepy, she felt the need to close her eyes but she shut the thought out. She had to complete her write-up within the next two days and she wasn't even half way yet. "Help me Lord" Riah sighed. She had gotten more busy and had forgotten to pick Matilda from the orphanage until Sarah reminded her. Riah didn't like the timing of Matilda's arrival. When she had planned it, she didn't think she would be this busy, she didn't think her job would be so stressful and she didn't want her daughter having impression of her mother as too bus...
