The Image of the One I carry
Take off the worries of those that worry
Do them the good they can't do themselves
Build up the faith of those who are faithless
Extend my hands so much to help the helpless
The image of a God is what I should be
The works of my Father and even yet greater
My worries will come buh I'll roll them over
If I take on theirs, He can take them too
What then happens when it seems it's my image
I'm reflecting the one I'm not
He gave me the right to be just like Him
Buh how many have the knowledge that I'm just taking on His image?
They see me and think oh I'm a genius
They see me and say I have it all covered
I wish they would just see Him in me
And offer the praises instead to Him
For while I am yet in His image
There be some glory I dare not take
For there is one glory of the star and another of the moon
Yet each star differs from another in glory
I showcase my father, I carry His image
Buh don't I know that there is a limit
For if I'm called a God in His place
Now that is a whole lot I can't take on
Isaiah 42:8 KJV
I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
