INSPIRED MONDAY: The lots on Agabda's mind

Agabda tried to think more. She was taking much more time than she would normally. She hated it and she felt she wasn't pushing herself well enough, buh for three days, she had sat for about four hours thinking on what she had to do, exactly how she had to do it. She was sure there was a way she was supposed to go in, a particular thing she had to do, in a particular way. Still, she couldn't think of even one way, talk less of having to choose which way was best. Repeatedly, she had stood from her chair, walked around a bit, looked out her window, sat again, picked up her phone to watch a movie, then replaced the phone on the desk after about three minutes, and thought again, she still had no idea what to do. Not that she wasn't sure on what to do, this time, Agabda was definitely sure she was out of ideas. Agabda knew it was wrong that she had no way out, she always knew what to do. She always had all possibilities considered and a way out if any possibility posed as a problem, and if in fact she had not thought of a way out, when she got stuck, she had the gift to think fast and get out of any trouble. Buh this time, she had been thinking on same issue for three consecutive days. Agabda thought of a maybe - Maybe...

The door to Agabda's study room opened. Before turning, she knew who it was, who it had to be. Only Princess entered her study room without a permit. Agabda turned in her chair, Princess moved closer to her, holding two mugs. "What are you doing, Princess? Drinks are not allowed here" Agabda said with a little smile. "Big sister breaks all your rules" Princess said with a shrug as she handed a mug to Agabda. "Ah, chocolate" Agabda said after she took the mug. She placed it on her table. "Lola said you've been in here a lot for some days now" Princess said and took a sip from her mug. "Yeah,  I've been having a bit of trouble lately" Agabda said, looking into her mug and running a finger around it. "Ooh, that's new. I'm the one who takes longer to think and get things done" Princess said. Agabda looked up at her sister "Is this mug new?" Agabda asked. Princess smiled, the mugs were similar,  Agabda's was turquoise, Princess' was magenta. "You noticed quickly. I got them on my way back from the camping yesterday" she replied. Looking at the cursive on it,  Agabda asked "what's written on it?" Princess looked at her mug "Seasoned words" she read. "It's a new brand series I suppose" Princess added. "I like it" Agabda nodded slowly. "I do too, have tea in it every morning and remind yourself that your words should be always with Grace, seasoned with salt" Princess said. Agabda agreed "Remind yourself every morning to let your words edify" Agabda added.

Agabda figured her way out was going to be a great and mind blowing one. She always thought of a way out, but now, that she couldn't, helped her remember that she was human after all, and all that she had to do was just look on, to the one who gave her her abilities in the first place. The last part of the verse says "... that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man." If Agabda used personification, she could make her problem seem like a man, and in that case, the verse shows that they were different ways to answer to different men as all men aren't same. In same vein, there were different ways in which she should approach her problem as all problems are not same, and that she had been using same approach for same problem didn't mean she had to use it every time.  This time, her eyes was opened to another perspective. Her maybe -

-  Maybe she had to face her problem head on first. She didn't have to always bother about getting herself out of the problem before she even encountered it, not always. That way, she would be leaving it all to God totally. Now, she knew how she had to leave tomorrow to take care of itself, she couldn't predict it all even though it seemed like she did in the past, and that was her father's supremacy over her. All she had to do was play her role of praying, and trying, and looking up to Him. He would take care of everything else, including helping her play her own role.
